 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24...has a new higher-horsepower V6 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission that makes the hot one even hotter for 1987. The new "Generaiton II" 2.8 liter V6 now delivers 130 horsepower, up from 120 in '86. The Z24, the performance model in the most-extensive lineup in the industry, also steps up engine performance and its sporty image with a new, functional fresh-air induction hood that feeds outside air directly into the air cleaner. The 14-inch aluminum wheel, a popular option in'86, is standard.
