Chevrolet Sprint...gets a Turbo boost in 1987 that turns the smallest and most fuel-efficient model in the Chevy lineup into a powerhouse. The turbo-charged, fuel-injected, inter-cooled version of the standard 1.0 liter 3-cylinder engine helps Turbo Spring shave almost 4 seconds from the regular model's 0-60 time, coming in at 10.5 seconds. Sprint Turbo is available only in the 2-door hatchback series with a manual 5-speed transmission.
