Notes: Initial A with St. Peter consecrating St. Hermagoras

St. Hermagoras was the first bishop and patron of Aquileia in Italy. According to his legend, he was consecrated at Rome by St. Peter. Latin inscriptions above the figure's heads identify them as St. Ermargora and St. Petrus.
