Testing the Goodyear Eagle Zr-S-- Test engineer Boyd Lear straps on his helmet prior to putting the new Eagle ZR-S through its paces at the Goodyear Test Track in Akron. The test platform is appropriatesly a Corvette, the vehicle for which Goodyear's line of unidirectional "Gatorback" high-performance tires was originally designed in 1984. The EAgle ZR-S is the first-ever "Z" speed-rated tire.
