1963 Chrysler Offers Wide Range of Engines
The powerplants in 1963 Chrysler cars have been designed for outstanding performance plus smooth, quiet and economical operation. For the Newport, the standard engine is the highly responsive yet economical 361 cubic inch V-8 with 2-barrel carburetor. The 300 has a 383 cubic inch V-8 with 2-barrel carburetor as standard and a new optional 413 cubic inch V-8 with a single 4-barrel carburetor. The New Yorker retains the 413 cubic inch V-8 with a single 4-barrel carburetor.
