Imperials Get Sent To The Showers
Every 1963 Imperial automobile that comes off the assembly line undergoes a wide variety of strenuous tests to assure its tightness, durability, appearance and quality. Shown here is an Imperial taking the brunt of a man-made downpour of gallons of water per minute. In addition to this "water test" and many other quality control checks inside the plant, all Imperials are put through the rigors of a specially designed outside proving area adjacent to the factory.
