1966 Imperial Has New Engine, Greater Comfort And Luxury
The 1966 Imperial offers new interiors and seating arrangements exclusive among domestic production cars. Individual arm rest, as well as positioning devices in four-door models, make front seats individual units although appearing like conventional bench-type seats. There is a new V-8 engine with 440-cubic inch displacement, largest ever offered by Chrysler Corporation, and important external styling changes. Built on a 129-inch wheelbase and with an over-all length of 228.8 inches, Imperial continues as a luxury car, with head room, leg room and seat widths among the largest of all cars. This is the Crown four door hardtop.
