CLEANER AIR SYSTEM FOR 1970--- Chrysler improvements to the cleaner air system (left) reduce the exhaust emissions to a level of about 33 percent below those of the last year. Some of the improvements include a heated inlet air system (right) to permit leaner fuel-air mixtures, leaner mixtures for all carburetors and improved mixture distribution; lower compression rations; a solenoid throttle stop that prevents after running; and distributor improvements that have more accurate spark timing to help maintain drive- ability while reducing exhaust emissions.
