At Chrysler Corporation's modernized Windsor (Ontario) Assembly Plant, the van/wagon bodies pass through a state-of-the-art paint process that includes complete immersion in the industry's most advanced uniprime system, as shown here, precision interior robot painting, and electrostatic finish coats. Underneath all this is the built-in protection of more than 1,000 pounds of galvanized steel on each body -- the most any U.S. or Canadian-built passenger car, van, or commercial vehicle contains.
