Notes:

Power plant and driving unit of the new Cord Front Drive car are in one complete assembly. The engine is a new Lycoming V-8, developing 125 horsepower at 3500 r.p.m. This is an unusually compact power plant. Cubic inch displacement is 288.64. Bore is 3½ inches and stroke is 3¾ inches. Cylinder heads are aluminum. Three 2½ inch main bearings insure long life and freedom from repair bills. The 4-speed transmission is entirely new. Gears are of the constant mesh, helical cut type, quiet in all four forward speeds, three of which are of conventional type, and the fourth providing a “cruising” speed which gives greater fuel and oil economy.

Creation Year: 1936
