Manuscript hymn notebook.

Binding: Turkish marbled paper, pamphlet-bound.

This was used as a music book, but also as a kind of sketchbook. There is Fraktur lettering throughout and it appears it was used as practice for that lettering.  It was also used as practice for painting flowers and birds.

Leaf 1 recto, is an explanation of the values for the musical notes.

Some red, yellow, and green are used for the Fraktur lettering.  There is also blue ink used with cursive writing.
