View from Broad & Chestnut Streets, facing west down Chestnut.. A crowd of pedestrians cross the street. The Girard Trust Company Bank can be seen on the far right of the image and the Land Title Building on the far left. 1422 Chestnut is farther down on the left side of the street.

1420-22 Chestnut Street built 1896-1899. Building designed by Frank Miles Day & Bro. (fl. 1893 - 1911). Placed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on 11/6/1980 and on the National Register on 6/27/1980.

Philadelphia atlases from 1875 & 1895 list 1420-24 Chestnut as inhabited by the American Baptist Publication Society. Same address is referred to as the Crozer Building on a 1910 atlas. Land use maps from 1942 and 1962 list 1422 Chestnut as the Crozier Building Arcade.
