1420-22 Chestnut Street built 1896-1899. Building designed by Frank Miles Day & Bro. (fl. 1893 - 1911). Placed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on 11/6/1980 and on the National Register on 6/27/1980.
Philadelphia atlases from 1875 & 1895 list 1420-24 Chestnut as inhabited by the American Baptist Publication Society. Same address is referred to as the Crozer Building on a 1910 atlas. Land use maps from 1942 and 1962 list 1422 Chestnut as the Crozier Building Arcade.
