Notes:

1966 Dodge Coronet Engine Mount – The engine mounting system for 1966 Dodge Coronet V-8’s is completely new. The development is a result of data obtained from extensive testing in the laboratory and on the road, and from computer analysis of many engine-mounting arrangements. The system involves a new mount location and a new design for the mount s themselves. With the two front mounts located closer together, the engine tends to roll more easily, and unwanted vibrations during idle are isolated from the body structure. At the same time, the 45-degree, shear-type, rubber mounts are somewhat stiffer than the previous type and are “tuned” to counteract drive line and suspension disturbances.
