1961 DODGE TIRES GO DAPE!

- Each year more motorists order their new cars with white sidewalls, and in 1961 Dodge offers a new white sidewall design that will “stay younger, longer”. The clean, simple design of the sidewall is coupled with a wider scuff rib to minimize the effects of curb-scraping. The slimmed-down white section is made with an exclusive new rubber containing the chemical Di-Alpha-Phenyl-Ethylphenol (DAPE) which provides greater resistance to weathering.
