Integrated Air Conditioning and Heating Systems in 1965 Dodge Dart
An optional, factory-installed fresh-air-type air conditioner for Dart now combines both heating and cooling functions in one compact system that fits easily behind the instrument panel. When operating in the “fresh” cooling selection, above, fresh outside air bypasses the heather core and goes directly into the fan. On the “Max” position, a door between the fan and heater core opens to permit circulation of inside air through the fan and evaporator.
