NEW DODGE CHALLENGER T/A features a 340 Cubic inch powerplant with 3 in-line, 2 bbl. Holey carburetors on an Edelbrock manifold. Compression ratio is 10.5:1 and torque is rated a 345 pounds-feet @ 3400 rpm. Bulkheads have been strengthened to permit four bolt main bearings, intake pushrod clearance holes are relocated to allow improved air flow in ports and the valve gear is designed for increased durability.
