Notes: Essex Motors, Detroit Mich. Three years ago the Essex Coach was introduced at the New York Show as a new departure--a six-cylinder closed car selling at less than $1,000. Now the tendency in that direction is one of the most striking features of the show. Essex has fortified its position by successive price cuts - made possible because in two seasons a quarter million Essex coaches have been bought by the public.
