Notes: Evinrude Motors, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. EVINRUDE’S NEW MOLDED TRACK - A new, one-piece polyurethane track is standard on all sports models in the 1968 Evinrude Skeeter line. The track’s unique waffle pattern improves traction and flotation. The track is molded polyurethane with nylon underply for resistance to wear. It is a new concept in track design with “teeth” molded on the inside surface. The drive sprocket engages the teeth and provides track rotation. Because the outer surface is solid, it picks up less snow and is also self-cleaning for smoother running in heavy, wet snow.
