EVINRUDE’S NEW DASHBOARD FOR 1968 – A high style automotive type dashboard is one of several new features on Evinrude Motors’ 1968 line of Skeeter snowmobiles. Instrumentation on the wide track electric start models (shown above) includes (clockwise from lower left): Reverse gear level; neutral lockout shift and compression release; control switch for hi and lo beam headlight; ignition switch; warm-up (choke) knob; and a primer. The dashboard is black with wood grained accents.
