Notes: Evinrude Motors, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 1968 EVINRUDE SKEETER WEIGHT REDUCED – New for 1968, Evinrude has reduced the weight on all models of Skeeters, weight reduction on the Sport-track unit being over 60 pounds. The weight reduction was accomplished without sacrificing Evinrude reputation for rugged construction. All Skeeter models are powered by Evinrude’s own American-made, 2-cycle, 16 hp air cooled engine. Its twin cylinder design makes it inherently smooth and provides plenty of reserve power for travel over rugged terrain. A disc type brake for sure stopping power continues to be standard on all models.
