Notes: Evinrude Motors, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. SKIJORING- being drawn by a horse over ice and snow while wearing snow skis is on the increase, with one change. Due to Evinrude’s American motor of 15 horsepower, the speed reached is over 35 mph. New mechanical features on all 1968 Evinrude Skeeters include a parking stand which suspends the track off the ground when the vehicle is not in use; and a hinged engine cab which swings up and away for easy access. A latch, mounted on the dash, locks the cab in place.
