Media Type:

Source: Automobile Reference Collection
Notes: Excalibur Automobile Corp., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pictured above is the evolution of the Excalibur representing 19 years of automobile manufacturing. The white car in the foreground is the Series IV, introduced in February of 1980. It features creature comforts never before available in the Excalibur; electric windows and seats, power-assist top, a trunk that is an integral part of the automobile, a fresh air heating and air conditioning system and body styling reminiscent of the Mercedes 540K. From left to right in the background are the Series I built from 1964-1969, the Series II built from 1970-1974 and the Series III built from 1975-1979. Each series has a five-year life span and after that period the body style is discontinued. The Excalibur has a proven appreciation value with some of the earlier Excaliburs selling for twice the owner’s original investment. Excalibur has its own 12 month/ 12,000 mile warranty with service available by the mechanic of the owner’s choice. The GM running parts offer the owner the serviceability of a mass-produced automobile with the beauty and elegance in styling only available through Excalibur’s handcrafted workmanship.
