Notes: Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich. Used either as a taxi or the family auto, the 1915 Ford town car had a 20-horsepower, four-cylinder engine, and such features as three-point suspension, built in magneto, and capacity to turn in a 28-foot circle, "of great advantage while operating in crowded thoroughfares." The town car sold for $690, fully equipped. Henry Ford is among the pioneers of the auto industry to be honored during Detroit's Golden Jubilee May 29 to June 9 (1946).
