The Paschalville Branch of the Free Library was first established, rent free, in the ground floor of a house at the corner of 70th Street & Woodland Avenue.  This is a ca. 1900 interior view of the branch.  It was in use from March 1900 until 1913, when it was torn down to make way for a new Andrew Carnegie-funded building, which opened on the same site in 1915.

The Paschalville Branch serves the Paschalville and Elmwood neighborhoods.
