The Wynnefield Branch opened in June 1964, the end result of a long campaign by the Wynnefield Residents Association. This 1967 image shows the series of fiberglass mushroom-shaped fountain jets, installed in a shallow pool in the side yard of the library building. This was commissioned for the branch and created by Joseph Greenberg, Jr., in 1964. |
