Notes: l innovations featured in the Techna, Ford Engineering's experimental car of the future, can be seen in this photo. The doors open straight out from the body rather than swinging, to provide improved access. Door handles are replaced with small power control panels, located just to the rear of the door opening. Supplemental high level brake and turn signal lights are located in the rear window, and the flush-mounted bumpers are plastic.
