Notes: Gift of Mr. Smart - Eve. Bull. 7/73. The popular Sports Accent Option introduced by Ford Division in mid-1972 is available again with the 1973 Ford Pinto. In addition, optional in 1973 are forged aluminum wheels (shown) that add to the Pinto's look of performance. This Runabout model includes a third door with gas-operated springs which raise the door smoothly.
