Notes: Gift of Robert Salgado 11/75. Maverick has a new frontal appearance that features a horizontal grille with a vertical divider bar. A new Luxury Décor Option includes two-tone body paint treatment, vinyl roof and new full wheel covers on the outside. Interior features include independent reclining seats, thick cut-pile carpeting and dome/dual beam map lights. Front disc brakes and new foot-operated parking brake are standard on Maverick for 1976. Fuel economy is improved by recalibrating the engine and lowering the rear axle ratio to 2.79 to 1.
