Notes: PACE-SETTER - The Mustang Cobra for 1980 has all-new front- and rear-end treatments which include a built-in air dam, integral fog lamps on most combinations, a new hood scoop and a rear spoiler. Based on the 1979 Indianapolis Pace Car, the Mustang Cobra has a standard 2.3 liter turbocharged engine or 4.2-liter V-8 engine teamed with a four-speed manual transmission or an optional three-speed automatic. Michelin TRX tires and Ford metric forged-aluminum wheels are part of the Mustang Cobra package. The car also has a Special Suspension System and tachometer, which add to its sporty character.
