Notes: The fastback-designed Mustang SportsRoof model (above) and the Mustang convertible are distinctly different for 1969. The SportsRoof exterior features simulated side air scoops and a built-in rear deck air spoiler. Improvements in the convertible's top folding mechanism make possible a nearly flush appearance when the top is folded down.
