Ford Division’s popular Thunderbird (top) is shown with a new-for-1978 Sports Décor Option that includes unique decklid straps, paint stripes, dual-remote-control mirrors and a vinyl roof with specially color-keyed rear-window moldings. Six exterior paints, four vinyl roof colors and two interior trims, in addition to a top-of-the-line Diamond Jubilee Edition Thunderbird, also are new for 1978. Ford Granada (below) receives front- and rear-styling changes for the 1978 model year as well as new ESS model, shown here. Granada ESS features include color-keyed wheel covers, reclining bucket seats, heavy-duty suspension and a long list of special interior and exterior features.
