Ford's LTD (top) continues to provide family-size room and comfort for 1978 and is one of the few car lines still capable of towing travel trailers with loaded weights of up to 7,000 pounds. For mid-size car buyers, Ford offers the LTD II (below) with a 40-channel Citizens Band radio among the new options added to the car’s already extensive list of optional features. Standard equipment on both the LTD and LTD II includes automatic transmission, power front disc brakes, power steering and steel-belted radial-ply tires.
