WAGON MASTER – With the styling and comfort of a family-sized sedan and a payload capacity to meet most suburban-family needs, Ford Division’s new line of LTD and Country Squire station wagons is completely redesigned for 1979. Cargo capacity on the 1979 modes is an ample 91.7 cubic feet – enough to carry standard sized four-by-eight sheets of plywood flat on the cargo floor. Additional features include Ford’s three-way tailgate and optional dual-facing rear seats with removable cushions that offer more room than in previous models.
