NEW AERO LTD – The all-new 1983 Ford LTD is aerodynamically styled and sized for today’s market, and retains the comfort and quiet ride associated with the LTD nameplate. The new family sedan features a plush, five-passenger interior; a large, deep-welled trunk; a fuel-economy rating of 26 mpg in the city and 40 on the highway; a luxury car ride provided by gas-pressurized shocks and struts and many innovative quality improvements. Engine choices are the improved 2.3-liter, four-cylinder with either a four-speed manual (standard) or automatic –transmission; the 3.3-liter I-6 with automatic transmission; the 3.8-liter V-6 with Automatic Overdrive Transmission and a 2.3 propane-fueled engine.
