GRAND TOURING MUSTANG – Ford Division’s new Mustang SVO is a sophisticated, highly individual driver’s car – with power to spare and glued-to-the-road handling. The aerodynamic SVO has a “grilleless” front end with integrated fog lamps and functional hood scoop; a dual-wing rear spoiler; a 2.3-liter fuel-injected turbocharged engine with an air-to-air intercooler; a five-speed manual transmission with Hurst linkage; a unique performance suspension with adjustable Koni gas shock absorbers and struts with three settings; a “premium/regular” fuel selector switch; power four-wheel disc brakes with special high-performance pads; repositioned brake and accelerator pedals for heel-and-toe downshifting, and several interior refinements.
