Title: Ford proposed color schemes 1952
Media Type:
Photographic Prints
Source: Automobile Reference Collection
Notes:
Using 66 miniature models, L.D Crusoe, vice-president – Ford Division, Ford Motor Company, studies colors proposed for 1952 Ford passenger cars in a unique display at the styling showroom in Dearborn, Mich. Kneeling is Randall A. Osmon, color and finish stylist. Arranged in geometrical patterns, the one-eighth scale models are painted with actual Ford baked enamel production finishes. While the models show color combinations and contours, they do not represent any future Ford car body styles. Color selections from this group will be applied to a limited number of full scale models for final approval by Ford officials.
