Ford Motor Company’s new service Bay Diagnostic System (SBDS) is a computerized information and diagnostic system that will increase customer satisfaction by improving the service technician’s ability to fix a vehicle right the first time. SBDS is designed to address two of the most frustrating department occurrences – intermittent problems and hard-to-find problems – and also is expected to reduce technician repair time and improve service shop productivity.
