Sauers and the car recently helped to raise over $27,000 for the American Heart Association and the “pair” are slated to drive in future races for charity. The “Gidgetmobile” is among few of its kind left in America, and is valued at $50,000. “The New Gidget” is produced by Ackerman/Riskin Productions, in association with Columbia Pictures Television, distributed by COLEX ENTERPRISES, and currently airing on over 120 U.S. television markets.
