GEO SPECTRUM FOR 1989….is now part of the new Geo family of small cars and has been recontented to attract more entry-level buyers. The ’89 edition of this Isuzu-built subcompact can be identified by its Geo badging and new gloss-black triple-segment grille. Two low-priced models in the 1989 Geo Spectrum lineup – a coupe and a sedan – are being sold nationwide through selected Chevrolet dealerships. Standard features include front-wheel drive, a 5-speed manual transmission with 4^th and 5^th gear overdrive, rack-and-pinion steering. Composite halogen headlamps, cloth-and-vinyl interior trim, reclining front bucket seats and electric window defogger.
