Notes:
These three cars for the future are being introduced by General Motors at the New York’s World Fair.
Top to bottom, they are the Runabout, a three-wheeled utility vehicle for the future city and suburban dweller featuring a built-in shopping cart system, the Firebird IV, designed for fast, comfortable cross-country cruising on automatic highways, and the GM-X, a two passenger high performance coupe appealing to the car enthusiast.
The three experimental cars are designed by GM Styling. Each is highly specialized, designed for a specific automotive purpose, and each shows many new ideas for making tomorrow’s motoring safer, easier, more fun, and more efficient.
