THE EXPERIMENTAL MONZA GT AND MONZA SS BY GENERAL MOTORS STYLING
The smooth aerodynamic lines of these experimental Corvair Monza “idea cars” are the result of a program of wind tunnel testing conducted by General Motors Styling. The Monza GT, a sleek silver fastback coupe, and the companion Monza SS, a flame red roadster, have identical basic body styling. Both cars have rear-mounted, air-cooled engines in the Corvair tradition and utilize some other standard Corvair components, although both are smaller than the regular production Monza.
