H.C.S. Motor Car Company, Indianapolis, Indiana. (H. C Stutz.)
Adjustability and accessibility in the H.C.S. car is best shown by a view of the right side of the motor showing the mounting of the starting and lighting system, the pump and the ignition system. All of these are instantly accessible. Attention is also called to the freedom from wiring and surplus tubes and springs. The water pump is of brass with bronze vanes. Attention is also called to the lower half of the crank case which is of aluminum and cast from frame to frame, the case thereby forming a dust pan for the motor.
