THE NEW 1923 HAYNES 55 FIVE-PASSENGER SPORT SEDAN
In the new 1923 Haynes 55 Sport Sedan a desirable distinction has been produced through the addition of such modern accessories as the spacious trunk, whose lines coincide with the curve of the body; the nickel-plated bumpers at the front and rear; the adjustable visor which affords vision protection for the driver against sun and rain; the nickel-plated, searchlight design head lamps and cowl lights; the Boyce motometer and ornamental radiator cap, and the glistening protection bars at the rear of the body. Six disc wheels and six cord tires, size 32x4½, are standard equipment, the two extra wheels and tires being mounted on the sides of the body at the front. The radiator is nickel-plated. Individual steps, designed especially for this Haynes sport model, together with the individual crown fenders, carry out the Haynes engineers’ ideas of motor car distinction. The body, as well as the wheels and trunk, is finished in deep maroon. Five passengers are carried comfortably in the new 1923 Haynes 55 Sport Sedan. The interior appointments are in keeping with Haynes closed car standards. Motor dependability and extreme power are assured by the Haynes-built 55 light six engine – a recognized and long-established transportation unit. The wheel base of 121 inches affords supreme travel comfort. The gasoline gauge is on the instrument board, while a combination tail light and stop light is an added convenience.
