Plugging in recharger of the new electric car, the Henney Kilowatt, which made its Chicago debut Monday, April, 4, 1960 at the sales conference at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. The 36 two-volt batteries can be recharged overnight. Operating cost is estimated at less than 1 cent a mile by the Eureka Williams Corporation, which engineered the car for its Henney Motor Company Division.
