Notes: This miniature precedes the opening of Prime of the Hours of the Virgin. The manuscript was illuminated in the workshop of the Bruges illuminator Willem Vrelant (fl. 1449-1481). Vrelant is considered one of the most influential illuminators active in Bruges during the third quarter of the fifteenth century.
