Birth and Baptismal Certificate
To these two married people namely Peter Goodling and his wife Veronica, a daughter of Benjamin Zeller, a son was born into the world on the 22th day of November 1854. He was born in Greenwood Township, Juniata County, in the state of Pennsylvania, and he was baptized by Mister William James Sando, and he was given the name Wilson through the holy baptism on May 12, 1855. The sponsors were his parents.
I am baptized in your name, God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I am counted as one of your seeds, to a people that you blessed. O. What fortune through that will be mine. Lord, let me be worthy of it.
