This is a reversed-image view of Rittenhouse Square looking south from the patio of the Rittenhouse Plaza Apartments, 1901 Walnut Street. The street visible on the extreme left is West Rittenhouse Square. Shows a stylishly-dressed lady walking by, people lounging in the park. Two apartment buildings loom from across the park, framed by the patio arches. The Rittenhouse Plaza was built 1925-1926 and designed by McLanahan and Bencker. The iron fencing and main entrance gate in the foreground are by noted iron worker Samuel Yellin.
