Georg Glück was born to Christian parents on the 13th of May in the Year of Christ 1812, in Heidelberg Township in Dauphin county in the province Pennsylvania in North America, and was baptized by H. D. Thiedeman. The sponsors were Henrich Löhnich and his wife Barbara. The parents are the honorable Conrad Glück and his honorable wife by the name of Elisabetha, a born Wittemeyerin. Hand-drawn; hand-lettered; hand-colored. The text is handwritten in Fraktur within a large heart, surrounded by leafy vines with fruits and flowers. A large star, or rosette, is in the center above heart. Two birds flank the heart on each side. Penciled, English-language addition in Roman script is above heart.
