Translation:

Birth and Baptismal Certificate
To these two married people, namely Johannes Weierbach and his wife Maria, born Gerhartin, a daughter was born on the 27th of January in the year of our Lord 1839. This daughter was born in Haycock Township. Bucks County, in the state of Pennsylvania in North America, and was baptized and received the name Maria, on the 5th day of May 1839. The sponsor was Maria Schleifferin, widow.

She died on the 3rd of December at 10 o’clock in the morning in the year of our Lord 1863. She was buried on Sunday, the 6th of December. She brought her age to 24 years, 10 months and 6 days.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in Fraktur and German script is in the center of the document, underneath an arch supported by two columns topped by six-pointed stars. In the two lower corners are two female figures holding flowers. In the lower center are two sheep, within a triangular frame surmounted by a heart with the artist’s name.
